Your safety is our priority. SCX is a fully sanctioned and monitored event.

WATER SAFETY

  • ✓ Water safety provided by MHIA Safety Team Leader Daz Keal
  • ✓ Water conditions monitored constantly — all riders advised via text if anything changes

MEDICAL & EMERGENCY

  • ✓ Sunshine Coast First Aid Volunteers — medical team on-site
  • ✓ Queensland Police Service (QPS) and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) notified

EVENT APPROVALS & INSURANCE

  • ✓ Event fully approved by Sunshine Coast Council and Maritime Safety Queensland
  • ✓ Public Liability insurance supplied by MHIA Inc

PARKING & ACCESS

  • ✓ Parking at Mari St, Alexandra Headlands — thanks to Alex Heads Surf Club
  • ✓ Free entry for all spectators

All participants on land and sea must follow safety briefing instructions. SCX officials have complete authority at all times. All entrants of SCX are representing the action sports community and therefore will show respect and encouragement at all times.
